Not a great product. The head of the lamp is heavier than the neck can handle, so it doesn’t position well. The bulb protrudes from the lamp shade, so the lamp cannot rest on the shade, and there is pressure on the bulb, if you don’t have a way to hang it clamp it above the terrarium. We’ve gone through two of these lamps so far, having to replace them after return window has closed. (Yes, we changed the bulb, it is something in the mechanism of the head of the lamp that goes out. I do not recommend.
